I just rebuilt an old engine I made a long time ago. It has no real purpose, like the rest of my applets Smiley

Link: http://ryer.dk/?codebase=sand

Click on "Bugs", "Hair" and "Weed" to see the other applets.

What do you think of the "Sand" ?

I like 'em.

I would love to see the source to "Hair" ...  I might be able to "fix" some things in Bungie Bill Smiley

WHat is that game? Smiley

Well the essential thing in hair is more visible if you switch to:

Line segment length: 32
Line segment count: 4

Then it is easier to see whats actiually happening.

The entire hair is composed of a number of segments.

I will be back tonight in details on how its is made. It is not very hard.

"Verlet integration" makes that hair-stuff very easy and fast, with only a few lines of code.
