a couple of issues

I am having a couple of issues with lwjgl at the mo:

1.My textures look like they have have the amount of colors reduced in the game, if i open them in paintshoppro (or wings)at desktop bpp(16) they look fine but i have to set the lwjgl display to 32bpp & fullscreen to get it looking right. See attached images

2.when i switch to fullscreen mode after createing the display it goes all crazy. See bottom 2 attachted images.

the full screen issue could be a driver bug

Do the same tests but with a Java2D implementation and compare the results. That could narrow the investigation.

What do u mean? I dont get this with every lwjgl program.

Well, I was just trying to help you to isolate the bug. Is the problem located in the graphics driver or in LWJGL? That's the kind of question you might need to answer. Did you try upgrading your graphics driver to know if it's related?

if possible try creating a selfcontained test that shows the issue, that way others can test
it looks like a driver bug tho.
Make sure you destroy the display before changing displaymode - some drivers dont like displaymode changes where bpp differ between fullscreen and non-fullscreen
