Whats your previous game experience?

If youve never done a game before then you want to really scale back your aspirations for your first project.

Yep everyone wants to make another Everquest or WoW but its not that easy.

I've been making muds for a long time and I'm trying to make a simple MOG that others can use if they want.
If you set your sights a little lower then the project can be easier to complete.  Take a look at the flood of asian MMORPGs (ROSE Online, FLYFF, etc) that are much simpler than something like WoW.

There is a lot of code for a Java3D online game in the Sourceforge CVS of the FlyingGuns project:

  http://sourceforge.net/projects/drts

Looks a bit scaring on the first look, but basically is a very simple construct.

for example that there are one billion Chinese? Wink but you are right. it's extremely difficult to get along in programming and IT in general without decent english knowledge.

@snowajang
maybe you should try to find a friend to help you translate english tutorials. You could ask in some local chat-rooms for example.
