« Posted 2003-06-08 15:48:09 »

Hi everybody !

I'm making a game with lwjgl (strange, isn't it ?) and I'm trying to implement a console (like quake's one), but it don't works...
Do you know were I could find any samples (in java, if possible) ? Or is there anybody here who has ever written one ?

Thanks

Yeah, me. I think I donated it to the JOS-RTS team. Should be in there somewhere.

After a little search, I found that there was a console in Alien Flux... But we can't access the source code anymore... Would it be possible to grab the console code ?

You can still get the source Cas gave JOSRTS from Sourceforge. It's a little messy in there due to a lot of new people learning CVS. As a result, the JOSRTS actually makes use of an offsite CVS tree with a CVS manager to keep the young whippersnappers in line. Smiley Look around tho. You should be able to find what you need.
