i am runing the test  example on WIN XP and j2dk 1.4.2 and it compiles fine and when it run the window disappear right after it is created ??
any one have an idea

Please copy/paste the command line output for us (run it from a command line if you are not).  We need some clue to be able to help you!

Generically:  make sure you have installed Xith3D correctly, and your video card drivers are up to date.
