Hope you don't mind if I post this here - but I see BlahBlahBlah is active on this site and I couldn't see an appropriate place to post it on JGF (maybe I needed to register?).

Anyway I was trying to play WordQuake it it doesn't start so I had a bit of a nosy and found a post from its author Mr Squirrel...


Hi, I am new at this so forgive me. I tried publishing a game here, but my problem is that it is written as an applet. Can any of you more knowledgeable folks tell me how I can either set the alpha.jnlp XML file so it has an applet-desc entry instead of the application-desc entry? Or alternatively, is there any reasonably easy way to adapt my applets to run under JNLP?
