Hi,

Codewarior made itself a nice reputation in the world of IDEs, and the latest release, Codewarior V8.0 features Java and c++ support mixed in the same IDE, with code completion for both languages and compatibility with Windows and MacOSX.

see :
http://www.metrowerks.com/MW/Develop/Desktop/Windows/Professional/Default.htm

Has anyone here been working on java code with it yet ? is it any good ? Does it have any flaws ?

I don't know about 8.0.  I got Metrowerks Codewarrior about 3 years ago (5.0, I think...  On a different computer right now), and still use it for both C++ and Java.  With the exception that conio.h for C++ doesn't work and that console windows just close at the end of the program without the "press any key to continue", I have no complaints.  Metrowerks ususally writes solid software.  Maybe I'll check out the new one.

I've been using codewarrior as an IDE (both C++ and java) for about 6 years after starting out on the Mac, then Windoze.

So far it's proven to be the best IDE I've played with and probably the only complaint is that sometimes it can be slightly flaky and quits or crashes (this is with Pro 6.0 and Java 7.0). I would guess that a lot of these problems will have been fixed in vers 8.0, but I'm still waiting to get the chance to use it!
