Work In Progress. Another ball related game for me I'm afraid. Roll around the level - collect the coins, get to the exit. Just like before only different.  Only 3 levels so far and only a couple of features. Still working on a few more levels and at least 2 more features. <PLUG>I used the Tilemap Eclipse plugin to design the levels  </PLUG> Webstart: http://www.cokeandcode.com/games/4k/roll4k/roll4k.jnlpControls: Left - roll left Right - roll right Space - jump R - restart Escape - quit Kev

great work, damn that 3rd level is one mean sucker, but once you get the trick to it very nice! love the physics to the ball.

This is awesome, I got to the 3rd level, that's a pretty tough introduction to the dragons teeth. Very cool!

I've managed to save 8 bytes - I'm back to 4080 bytes -
- Added 5 more levels (now up to a grand total of 10 levels!) - A new feature - Tidied code - its almost readable now

Ah ha, its actually the level one from last... fixed. Oddly enough, adding that exit saved me one byte in packing. Kev PS. Tools are available for level creation should anyone wanna give it a try

That first level with the switches is insanely difficult. It should be the last level; it's alot harder than any of the others. I suck at twitch games like this so it was kinda frustrating at times. Awesome 4k game though.

Ok, couldn't find the level with no exit but I guess I forgot to repack the levels. Done that and uploaded. Let me know if the level still doesn't have an exit... if so, could you screenshot it so I can find the right level.

I find on level 3 the easiest thing to do is just go up on to the platform just to the left of spikes then just roll right as fast as possible. That seems to get me over them. You can actually jump over them if your careful, buts its much harder. Levels wise I'm not sure this is the final set yet, these were just ones I made up as I went along, so order is kinda just any old flip at the moment. Glad you enjoyed it  Kev

I have to do a very, very tricky jump or FIRST jump on the platform to the left, bounce once, and then roll left in the middle of the bounce.

Ah well, each to their own way - most of the levels are only solveable because I spent ages trying to solve them - design the level - then work out if its solveable  Managed to free up another 200 bytes! last night. Either a 5 more levels or another feature and a couple of levels. Not sure what feature to add tho  Kev

Likewise, that was one of the first things i tried. You're not running a time-based game loop are you? Then my (not great) framerate could be causing oddness.

Its step based actually - well sort of. Did you manage to complete it or still sticking? My wife manages to do that roll trick everytime.. I can't get it to work ever.. I just jump straight up and use a control fall. She says its something to do with bouncing off the wall next to you first.
