Nice changes.

The only problem is that performance degenerates quickly. Eg if you get all power ups level 5 is totally unplayable. Looks like you used frame skipping for keeping up, which makes it really hard to play.

Well, 500mhz isnt really fast, but that shouldnt be a problem usually.

Yeah it gets a little choppy on my Celery with Intel Integrated Fake Graphics Smiley  But it kinda adds to the, "I'm so awesome I'm destroying the GAME!!!" effect  Grin

Woo!  I haven't reached them yet, but I have another request.  Can you make the end-of-level-delay a bit longer so that we have time to pickup that last powerup dropped before the level switches?  Often times the level switches before I can fly up and grab it.

Edit:
Ahh!!  I got the new upgrade!!  But then lost it in the next level and was reset back to the start of the weapons Sad  I'd like to beg that I either get to keep the blue level, or that the enemies don't get so much faster quite so soon!  I feel like the game would be better to last longer.  Perhaps if they increase in number on odd levels, and increase in speed on even levels?

ok fixed, enemies don't increase so fast now, as for collecting the powerup a good technique that i've found is when you think the boss is gonna blow up just move in close and u can get the power up before level switches.

Cool!  I like the new progression.  However I had an experience twice in the game where I tried to fly over a powerup and it wouldn't pick up.  It wasn't even near the bottom of the screen.  I flew past it 3 or 4 times before it went to the bottom.  I hit it from all sides and couldn't happen.  This only happened twice during the whole game of getting a total of maybe 10 powerups.

ok timing now fixed, not longer does it frame skip in large sections, also the power glitch shouldn't happen now either, i achieved this by capping delta to 20.

the ctrl button can now also be used for shooting this is a workaround for those with keyboards where you could only use two buttons at a time thx to oNyx for pointing this out as well as for the fix.
