I'm so exited of that news! :-)

I guess other cellphone companies will do the same sometime in the future. I'm just wondering what are the positive impacts for J2ME games since the OS is written in Java. Didn't have time to read on SavaJe OS.

Actually...the first cell phone to have a Java OS is the Danger Hiptop, also known as the TMobile Sidekick.  The entire thing is done in Java.  What makes the LG phone so interesting is that the SavaJe implementation is CDC based, which puts it closer to desktop Java.  Wonder how long before we see a JIT on the phone? Smiley
