Java Loaders

Hi folks,

I have just starting working with Java3D and I'm having some loader issues.  I can load the boat obj that is given in the tutorial just fine, but when I try to create a object using blender.. things start going down hill.  No matter what format I export it in, (lightwave, obj, dxf, vrml) I can't for some reason get Java3D to load it.  I have downloaded Loaders and tried the x3d stuff, but still no go. 

Does anybody have some resources that talks towards loaders or know of a place that I can get some solid Loaders from?  Is Blender just not a great tool to export this stuff with?  Thank,
