Well,  i am kind of new to java,  but I have been using it for maybe two months now.  I wish to create a zelda game.  But first.  Where to begin...  I know nothing of game design in java.  I don't even know how to load an image or make a animation.  Some one please help me learn...!!!

Or you might want to check this.
To save you time from learning all stuff for only displaying something to screen and you can start designing your game.

Since you are new to Java, I would suggest learning the language first.  Go to Sun's website and do the entire Java tutorial: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html

You cannot reply to this message, because it is very, very old.

Add your game by posting it in the WIP section,
or publish it in Showcase.

The first screenshot will be displayed as a thumbnail.
