A freshly started game community MOD team is looking for Java AI programmers.

The JObotZ project is meant to make intelligent bots for the Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising game.
Hosted on www.nova-inside.com the project is currently in beta-testing phase before the first public release.

The project was done by a single programmer until this time, but new help is required for further development.
There is support forum staff and 30 beta testers working on the project.

Because of the complexity of the game environment and requirements for AI to think in tactical terms too, this may be a challenging task.

There is a small but expanding game API implemented in Java, on top of which the AI system works.

You should be familiar with AI algorithms, Java coding and performance optimizing.
Besides the core AI functionality programmers are also needed to develop helper-applications, tools, editors.

As a community driven MOD project it grants no material benefits, but the gaming community is awaiting this piece of software with much enthusiasm. Excellent opportunity for trying out BOT AI ideas. Any help is welcome on contributory basis also.

If you are interested in participating on this project, contact VeaR@action-inside.com
