I apologize for hurting somebody's ears. No, I'm not lonely, it was rather a practical joke. My blog is full of these and some people find them funny (well some don't). Anyway I can definitely create a song about Eclipse. How about changing a bit the text of <a href="http://www.lyricsfreak.com/b/bonnie-tyler/22769.html">Total Eclipse of the Heart?</a> It could go like...

I can perfectly imagine that people sing songs about IDEA as well. It is sympathic and it 'feels' good. You can feel that the developers love what they do (as with NetBeans).

For Eclipse, an IDE pressed into market by a huge company with *loads* of money and marketing, with a propreitary GUI, with many many developers sitting in their cubes beneath cold neon lights ...  no wonder nobody wants to sing.

Its like .... singing about Emacs, vi, TeX, .... possible.
About MSWord? No way.

Well I've found a few songs which contain the word "idea" but none of them is really famous. If you know a famous song with "idea" let me know and I'm sure to come up with some good alternative text :-)
