Hi, I'm asking for suggestions for my game, The Best Game Evar 2: F**kwad's Revenge.
http://192.18.37.44/forums/index.php?topic=10453.0

I need suggestions for jobs. The jobs are pretty much the equivalent of classes in out game. We wanted to call them classes, but that's a reserved word, as you all know. And jobs sort of sounds more interesting anyway. Smiley

In any case, we have a grand total of 55 job slots in the game, and we haven't come up with what all of them are. They can pretty much be anything that is cool or funny. The game is a satire on all things RPG, so don't worry how farfetched you get.  Here is a list of what we are using so far:

01) Zombie
02) Computer Programmer
03) College Student
04) Banshee
05) Pimp
06) Pirate
07) Dunpeal (half vampire from Vampire Hunter D)
08) Rhakshasa
09) Crackwhore
10) Cap'n Jack
11) Male Prostitute
12) Astronaut
13) Newbie (base class)
14) Monkey
15) Velociraptor
16) Samurai
17) Mime
18) Jedi
19) Ninja
20) Killer Attack Orangutan
21) Psychotic Serial Killer
22) Schizophrenic
23) Cyborg
24) Spoonbender
25) Werewolf
26) Secret Agent
27) Poker Player
28) Sado-masochist
29) Religious Fanatic
30) Italian Mobster
31) Wild West Bounty Hunter
32) Kund Fu Master
33) Media Whore

Also, there are a group of 10 lame jobs as well. Here's what we've got so far:
1) TV Evangelist
2) Twelve year-old internet crackbaby Dragon Ball Z fan f**kface
3) Politician
4) Fast Food Pimply Kid
5) Emo Brat
6) Player Killer
7) Punk Army Wannabe
Suggestions are appreciated! Anything you can think of!

Heh heh, those are some funny ones. I'll add in fast food worker and maybe goth. All of your things like trekkie or l33td3wd are pretty much supposed to be the DBZ fanboy. That's supposed to more or less represent anyone who is overly obsessed with anything like that. As for the President of the US – politican may just be a good addition. Cool

Also, what is Griefer?

As for the cool jobs (which you posted while I was typing Smiley)... Giant robot goes with cyborg, japanese movie monster is a maybe, psychic reporter will be added as "Media Whore," NAoDOOM goes with Ninja, Mob Hit Man goes with Italian Mobster, Video Game Producer goes with Computer Programmer, and Liger is a maybe. (yeah, they do exist, and so do Tigons)

Cool glad my random brain-stormign was some help Smiley

A griefer is someone in an OLRPG whose sole purpose in playing is to ruin the fan of other people and generally upset them.

The've been around since OLRPGs began as a sad reminder that there are some really sad people out there.  I used to call them the "Demon-Kiddies" when I was in that end of the business as they all act like seriously screwed up 13 yr olds... but the sad thing si many are really  much older.  "Griefer", as in one who causes grief, is the term the community has pretty much standardized on these days.

Hmm... I like that, but do you mind if I just change it to Player-Killer? That's sort of a more general and widely known internet asshole. Smiley

Any more would be appreciated. We need about 10 more.

Combinations of pirate and ninja (someone who is loud but sleathly, or quiet but garish, etc.) are greatly appreciated.

Ha ha ha, good point. Actually, they are all very close on the class triad.

(every time you level up you can move one position around the triad, which is a giant geometric web of classes, with ninja, zombie, and pirate on each of the corners)
