Hello all I'm a begining (read: newbies very little programming exp.) programmers looking for a project to contribute to. If anyone has or knows of a project please post here or e-mail me. I'm hoping to work on a project where when I screw up I'm able to chat with soemone or view the corrected scource concerning what went wrong. This way I'm not only gaining knowledge, but contributing to a project in some way. Thanks.

You can make levels for BGE2 http://192.18.37.44/forums/index.php?topic=10453.0 if you'd like. It includes a scripting language similar to Java, and may be a good starting point for you.

Well if u like, u can help me test my 2d game engine.
I made some beta version and now some friends and me are developing a shooter game with it.
If u want, u could try developing some smaller game with it and provide me with some feedback......
