So I've been spending my weekend on a very simple game, and decided to use GAGESound. All was going well (it's not hard, after all
), but I've run into a problem with a lag between the method call to play a sound (wav) and when it actually starts playing. Not a very large lag, but certainly enough to affect the feel of the game. It actually sounds a lot like this: http://220.127.116.11/forums/index.php?topic=5023.0
, except that I'm not running this in Linux - it's Windows.
Any ideas as to what could be going on? Thanks.
