OS: All 32-bit MS Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP), All POSIX Software i will use: JDK 5.0, JBoss 4.0 description: - GoJMS Implementation of an on-line web based Go game. - client side: un applet who implements the rules of the game of GO and is also capable to send/receive JMS messages who represents the mouvements. - server side: a MOM (Message Oriented Architecture) infrastructure (a J2ee server for example) capable to receive and diffuse the JMS messages to the clients registered with the JMSTopic. - 2 kinds of clients: - the players (who are able to play a game so to send JMS messages) - the visitors whe are able just to watch a game (so just to receive JMS messages) The main problem is whow to architect the MOM to be capable to play concurent games using the same JMS topic; the solution must be on using the JMS QL. For instance it's only possible to play only against another human but it's possible to plug-in the GNU Go game to have games human vs. computer. Today, the applet is ready and it must develop "just" the server side.

I think this is a great idea simply becuase I've wanted to see someone use JMS in a game for ages.

As there have been no negative votes, I am chosing to hold this project over for one more week in which to find its last yes vote.

Unfortunately this project has failed to gather its last requities "yes" vote this week, so I am retiring it as rejected.

Two good yes votes is a strong showing.  If the proposer wants to do a bit of PR in the forums and then re-submit the project I would be happy to put it to another vote.
