Hi,

I have noticed that there are no Solaris binaries for joal and jinput libraries on the other hand AFAIK Solaris 10 promises Linux compatibility. My question now is, can the linux binaries used with Solaris 10?

[edit] I'm taking about x86 version, since there are only linux builds using that arch. [/edit]

Best regards

Answer... i dont thin kwe have any idea.

To my knwoedlge noone has tried that experiment.  I can say this: there is no effort to make them work
in that environment, to keep them working in that environment, or to tes them in that encironment.

Personally I dont think such an effort would pay. If anyone had the interest to actually work inthe SOlaris space it
would be better put to doing real ports.  Assuming OpenAL is available under Solaris10, ports just
shouldnt be that hard to anyoen who knew the Solaris end of things.
