Setting time parameter in keyframe is critical but I don't know how to determine the most accurate value. I tried setting canSkip parameter in your game and saw that how it slows down the application. Something came to my mind, may be this can be used to calibrate the value of the time parameter. If this(canSkip) parameter changes the speed of your application too much it means many timecycles are skipped. If that doesn't change the speed of the application too much than the value is appropriate, may be... only an idea.

I would say effects could slow down but you already said that it isn't the case.

Try to set "canSkip" parameter of KeyFrame to true.

I liked your game - it's very good, especially considering that you did it in a couple of days. This and the flight-game screen shot show that you're quite quick and talented at doing these things! And also resourceful - I mean to pull together the 3d graphics and physics and textures and all that must be pretty hard.  Does JMonkeyEngine do that stuff pretty easily?
In fact I can't say very easy, I struggled with textures too much. May be it is because I am new at jmonkey. Anyway there are very useful things in it, I recommend it strongly.
I deal with physics by myself. Such things doesn't seem difficult to me, may be it is my plus.

One other small thing - the starting menus are pretty bad and look terrible - it seems like they only choose a fast tank or fat tank, so why not just have one in-game menu for that and not use those ugly Swing metal look and feel menus?
As I said I am new to jme , and I didn't want to waste time with learning and applying such things to these two games. In flight game my aim was to achieve some specific things in my mind only and with this tank game I only wanted to make a good code design, nothing more. I didn't think these games as something that people would want to play.

If you want people to test your application, then a single click (webstart) is much more comfortable than downloading, extracting and running it manually.
In fact I wasn't aiming the players with this thing. Code is in it, I thought people may comment on it by the view of a developer. Anyway I would still prepare a webstart but novadays I am busy, I will take care of it later.

I applied somewhere and they wanted me to develop a simple but well designed game. Within 5-6 days I prepared something with jmonkey. Here it is:

Playability is not well, computer is too strong but the aim was to make a good code design. Code is also in it as an eclipse project. You may look at it if you want.

There is a readme file for instructions.

Further, this is perfect for a reference-project, although a tech-minded interviewer will easily identify the shortcuts you made.
But hey... there are little jobs in the game-industry, and those easy pickings, are probably going to exploit you bigtime.

Yes I've graduated from computer science this year but I am in Turkey, there are very few companies here and to find work abroad seems difficult.
What are the little jobs, you mean somethings like the ones that can be found in freelance sites. Here most of the jobs are related to web/enterprise applications. If I can make a living by the little jobs you said I'd prefer them rather than work on something I don't like.

Any way we can play it?  Grin

At first I wasn't planning to prepare something that people can play but it is better than I expected and people want to play when they see. I have to work more to prepare something packaged. First I shall find a job than I can do somethings about it.

glad to see that you get the point  Smiley. I am looking for job now and I prepared this to be a reference project. I wanted to finish this game as soon as possible so I did it that way. It took 3 weeks, my friend made models(plane, rocket).

Everybody liked it except from my mother and father  Grin

don't know if this works for you, here there is a video about animation in opengl and it says that it exports an md2 file at the beginning by using blender.
