The Atmosphere skydome doesn't use any texcoords, the atmospheric scattering is calculated in the vertex shader and just output vertex color to the fragment shader.

The cloud/space hemisphere(half skydome) constructs UV'coords in the vertex shader by using the normal vector. vertexUV = normal.xz / (normal.y + 0.25);

I'm using a regular sphere/hemisphere that can be seen here:

How do I reflect the day/night cycle on the water surface when using sphere, hemisphere and a plane for the whole sky? see pic:

I can only find tutorials when using a cubemap/skybox and not a skydome.

I'm using OpenGL 3.3 and GLSL 3.30.

My application doesn't work anymore when I changed graphic card, namely Transform Feedback (update VBO).

I can render all the points, but Transform feedback doesn't update the VBO. I checked also with "queryObject = GL15.glGenQueries();", 0 points stored in VBO.

Card before (Transform Feedback working)

Nvidia GTX 680

Couldn't find anything on the net about this problem.

I have trouble with collision detection. My heightmap have quads and each quad have two triangles. A diagonal line connects two corners in each quad. How can I determine which quad and which side of the line the character is standing on?

Plane equation: Ax+By+Cz+D=0, N=(A, B, C).

I know how to calculate Y(Height), but I need three points of the triangle (under the character).

How can I calculate?
