1  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Re: JSR-231 1.1.0 Release Candidate 2 Released on: 2007-02-11 23:12:06
Is anyone else getting "Hello World" being continually being written to the Java console?  I don't
think this is my code. I'm using:

    <extension name="jogl" href="http://download.java.net/media/jogl/builds/archive/jsr-231-webstart-current/jogl.jnlp"/>

in my JNLP.

Not all fonts are bad in JEditorPane, h1 an h3 work, just the ordinary fonts show similar to the Java Console.  I can't reproduce the problem on Linux

Just bring up the Java console.  The problem shows up there.

Has anyone tried JEditorPane with content type text/html with a transparent background overlaid with JLayeredPane on top of an animation?  I'm doing this,
and it looks like the bottom part of the text is cut off.  MacOSX, Java 6, DP5.

Yes, I know I'm challenging the technology.   But it ALMOST works!  So close!  I want a web HUD.

5  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / HDR program not quite the same as NVIDIAs on: 2005-10-22 23:19:06
I have tried the Nvidia SDK HDR program, and the one from the JOGL-demos package.
I must say that the Nvidia one looks much nicer, with better shading.

Any chance that we will see a better version in JOGL demos?  With source
code?

I am doing transparent surfaces.

6  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Encoding JOGL animation into a video file format on Linux on: 2005-10-15 23:42:09
I am using the HDR.jnlp from jogl-demos to display my model.  I would like to capture
the window output into a file (MPEG or other format viewable on Linux).  I am on Linux,
but certainly Windows is possible.   What options are there?  Is there some property
I can set?
