Thanks very much Niwak..
I think triangulating the polygons will do it...
I will try to use the GLU Tesselation Function, because im using JOGL with Xith3D...(hope it works fine).

But a Triangle Fan doesn't help me .... because i have concave polygons (which are more complex)  too...

What can I do to display those Polys?

@arne  I want to use filled Polys.... I need to fill the Line Array

Hi all !

How can I make simple Polygons ( f.ex. with 7 Points). Which Xith3D Function do I have to use for Polys?  I can't find one.  Huh

Hope you can help me....

7  Java Game APIs & Engines / Xith3D Forums / Two-Sided Lighting on: 2005-08-23 15:42:26
Hi !

I can't find a function in Xith3D which implements Two-Sided Lighting.
Some of my Models have Polygons, which normals are face backwards...
So i need a function like in JOGL/OPENGL :   glLightModeli(GL.GL_LIGHT_MODEL_TWO_SIDE, GL.GL_TRUE);
..so that both sides of the Polygon will be exposed correctly.
Can I do this with a Xith3D Function?

Thanks for help !

8  Java Game APIs & Engines / Xith3D Forums / Swing FPS Counter & Wireframe Mode Problem on: 2005-08-23 13:32:44
Hi !

I'm using the Swing FPS Counter .
But when I'm rendering in Wireframe mode with the command:     options.setOption(Option.ENABLE_WIREFRAME_MODE, true);
the Swing FPS Counter disappears! ( because I think it's displayed in "wireframe" too)    Huh

What can I do to avoid this problem? I want to render my Objects  in Wireframe mode, but not the FPS Window!

Thanks for help...
