Thank you for your kind comments. Our inspiration came from elsewhere rather than Minecraft and this will become apparent as we go forward. We did, in fact, start writing Everplanes before Minecraft!

I have been aware of the JGO forum for a while and have found it very useful.

I felt you may be interested in a game we have written. It is coded in Java (1.5+), uses JOGL for OpenGL and JOAL for OpenAL (I am pleased with both).  We have just put Alpha 1 live.

There is a reasonably long video on the website and I have included a screenshot below.  Although the game has been a long time in the making, there's still a lot that we'd like to add to the gameplay, hence the Alpha 1 status.
