My problem wasn't to use setFullScreen(null).

It was after when I try to put decoration back with :


it throws an exception telling me that the window is displayable...

Thanks for the site anyway it answered others questions.

Hello everyone,

I would like to switch from fullscreenmode to windowed mode and windowed mode to fullscreen mode.

I have tried

- Fullscreen to Windowed :

setSize(800, 600);

but there i can't use setUndecorated(false) because the window is displayable. Is there a way to make a JFrame not Dispayable without destroying it (i tried setVisible(false) didn't work) ?

- Windowed to FullScreen :

after using the setSize(800, 600) it seems that there is no way back to fullscreen.

Yeah this I know but chat is one part of an online game there much more work to do with data base to insure persistance.

I've seen many articles saying that for interface to the database JDO is much better than EJB entyties Any of you have informations about this ?

hum i wondered if EJB could be used because i don't see how for exemple i can make my own thread for ping every players just to be sure they are alive. Because whatever the online game looks like there must be chat and i don't think EJB is usefull for handle chat.
