1  Java Game APIs & Engines / Java Sound & OpenAL / Play .wav in JDK 1.4 applet on: 2004-08-25 06:49:04
Is there anybody who has experience with playing a normal (windows) .wav file in a game applet?

I have tried several pieces of code, but some of them only work fine with applications and some of them don't work at all.

Maybe somebody has written a standard class or something?

Any help would be appreciated.

I try to use this code in an applet. It compiles fine, but when I try to play start.wav (a standard windows media file), the applet generates an "has not a supported AudioFormat" error.

Any ideas?
