I would like to be a programmer. I don't have too much programming experience (only made a tetris clone), but I understand physics in 2D and I'm willing to learn though.  Also I'd like to help with story and art for the game.

Anyone know how to change the font that Jave uses for g.drawString? I tried setFontSize but it asks for a mutable attribute set and I have to idea what that is. Thanks.

ok I how got another related problem.
I need to use the above method to draw and image.

g.drawImage(baa, 100, 100, 100 ,100, this);

the problem is that I can't use the image observer "this" is there anyway to get around this?

I tried something like this:

    g.drawOval(100,100,10,10);
}
But it gives me an error saying can not resolve symbol. Any ideas?

OK...nevermind I forgot to import the right packages that's all....hahaha silly me

I'm trying to get my game to render properly without refresh line. But the redering code I've come across all seem to need getTimeInMillis. So my question is how do you use getTimeInMillis, or if you know of a way to render without getTime please tell me. Thank you.
