 just dont touch it with both your hands then at most it will just hurt you.
Did you try to simulate the circuit with SPICE (or some other circuit simulator). How is the middle part between the two transforms connected to ground?
And you didnt specify what you want to do with the circuit..
If you "just" want high voltages i recommend the "greinacher multiplier" circuit. You can make tasers and such with it Cool

oh my, please hide your powerlevel..

Thats exactly why i didnt take computer science. I dont want to bore me in the first year by visiting programming beginner courses and looking at easy algorithms. Thus i concluded that i have to do Electrical engineering which as lot of fun (too).

Well in china you buy WoW gamecards with either 4000 or 2000 mins and the client is entirely free. The internet cafes dont make a difference, because you still have to use your own account, you only pay for the usage of the computers/hardware. Many chinese gamers dont have a own pc. So the pricing scheme shouldnt be affected.

Look at WoW over 10mil subscribers. umm...that is 100mil a month if the fee is only 10$ which it is closer to 15$. I know that in Runes of Magic their pay to win system is ridiculously successful.

Wow has a lot asian customers and especially the chinese ones pay "only" 7cent/hour

I really love programming and learning about all of this stuff, so I'll probably end up pursuing assembly language with C soon and programming on emulators and using the Gameboy SDK and whatnot just to get some experience with it, because it sounds like a very challenging but knowledgeably rewarding endeavor. I think there's a lot about programming that we all don't know, so I figure a wise path

Man indeed it did this and im still doing this. I ended up with a gb emulator and it was hell a lot of fun to write it and analyzing old games' assembly code and seeing it run on your pc.

7  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / varargs question on: 2012-01-22 00:38:28
I have the following code:
1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
   public static String dumpHex(byte... hex) {
      String format = "$";

      for (int i = 0; i < hex.length; i++) {
         format += "%02X ";
      }
      return String.format(format,hex);
   }

My methods takes varargs and String.format too. But this gives me a IllegalFormatConversionException. How do I solve this ?

9  Java Game APIs & Engines / OpenGL Development / get Matrix on: 2011-12-12 23:09:46
Hello,
im trying to get the current modelview matrix.
i tried something like this
1
2
3
4
 private ByteBuffer tmp = ByteBuffer.allocateDirect(4*16);
 private FloatBuffer store = tmp.asFloatBuffer();
...
glGetFloat(GL_MODELVIEW, store);

but that gives me a enum Error (1280).
Any idea how to solve this?
10  Game Development / Networking & Multiplayer / Re: Nio - seperating types of incomming data on: 2011-03-31 11:44:59
No you dont, only the reader needs a thread.
You send messages with methodcall à la

writer = new PrintWriter(socket.getOutputStream());

..

public void sendMsg(String msg){
writer.println(msg);
writer.flush;
}
11  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: Project dont run anymore?! on: 2011-03-30 16:55:34
ich hab das Problem manchmal auch, ich glaube es tritt hauptsächlich auf wenn man mit f6 startet während unten noch scanning projects steht oder wenn man eine Klassennamen ändert.
Lösung: einfach clean & build machen Smiley

sometimes i also have this problem, i think it mainly occurs when you execute your code while its still  scanning projects or if you change one of your classes' names.
Just clean and build
