1  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Getting help within Eclipse on: 2007-07-15 01:12:37
Hi,

I have been using JOGL 1.1.0 successfully in Eclipse (Europa) on OS X but at the moment, I am browsing the JOGL document externally via the HTML documentation.

Is there a Javadoc equivalent? What is the way to integrate the Javadoc for JOGL so that the help content shows up like normal Java language help.

Regards
2  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Sun JDK SE 5.0 and JOGL 1.1b07 on: 2005-01-01 21:41:45
Hi,

I noticed that the website says that the JOGL is build to work with JDK 1.4.2.

Does this mean that the pre-build binaries will not work with Java SE 5.0?

I tried install the *.jar files to the required lib\ext location and running the demo

       java demos.gears.Gears

 I get

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no jogl in java.library.path

I have read the various post about similar problem and have tried various solution e.g.

  -Djava.library.path=<path to jar>

I have also noticed that there is no longer any *.dll file for JOGL.

Anyone using JOGL with JDK SE 5.0 from Sun running on a Win32 platform?

Cheers

3  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Unable to access JOGL cvs repository on: 2003-10-02 14:13:25
I tried using the guest account as describe in

https://jogl.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectSource#commandlinecvs

but the CVS server said there is no such user "guest"

Anyone else using CVS to retrieve the source?

I am looking for the GLJPanel example source code.
4  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / [Q] Multiple JOGL canvases in single application on: 2003-09-30 00:05:44
Hi,

Is there an example illustrating the creation and management of multiple JOGL canvases within an application (like those in 3D modeller application with different views e.g. Top, Left, Front, Perspective views)

How does the multiple canvases interact with the layout manager?

Cheers
