2  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: 2D Roguelike Dungeon Game Alpha on: 2016-03-28 22:19:05
I thought that the game is boring, but...
When I try it, I could not stop. I stopped only when ammo ended  Grin

You really 17 years old? Cheesy

EDIT:
About game:
Game runs smoothly, no huge bugs, but here is some bugs with shooting(when you shoot, bullet stops near you).

Here bullet is not flying, she stopped here.

Also movement is little buggy.

I can't speak for Archive...but hardware acceleration is for the weak... Grin

So you say that all game companies are week? Cheesy
CPU is too busy, unnecessary rendering is not his job, there are GPU to do this.
4  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Shard Master Classic - WIP on: 2016-02-04 15:32:59
What are your computer specs. Also, this isn't a hardware accelerated game so no OpenGL all the graphics and logic are being processed on the CPU.

PC Specs:
Processor:  Intel Core i5-4590 3.3 GHz
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 980M
RAM: 16GB

So why you not using OpenGL? Cheesy
5  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Shard Master Classic - WIP on: 2016-02-04 15:02:18
How slow is it running without shadows?

Without shadows I getting max 29 fps, why you not using shaders for shadows?
6  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Shard Master Classic - WIP on: 2016-02-03 13:32:01
Why this game is so slow?
7  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Vangard on: 2016-02-01 12:57:11
But you will use pathfinding, right?
If yes, then you should find a way to assign path to each entity without fps drop and do this is not easy then you have ~60k entities, even if you will assign certain number of paths per second with ~60k entities, last entity will need wait for a path too long I think.  persecutioncomplex
8  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Vangard on: 2016-01-31 22:08:12
I'm curious to find out how much you hold entities in your map? From your posts I concluded that you holding many entities, if I am right, here is other questions:
1) How you updating large number of entities.  Tongue
2) What is your fps? Cheesy
9  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Shard Master Classic - WIP on: 2016-01-14 12:41:18
I don't no why? But I getting around ~6 fps  Grin

13  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Re: Floodgate - Randomly Generated Sewer System Search Thingy on: 2015-12-22 21:19:57
Nice game! I like basic idea and you should continue developing it. But I do not like a movement, it's looks very strange, I thing movement should be smooth, without jumping.
14  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Tile transitions between different tiles on: 2015-12-22 20:23:13

Ok, I will try. Thanks for fast answer.
17  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Libgdx I can't find glScalef method in GL on: 2015-03-16 18:27:48
So I have little problem here. I know that libgdx allows you to access to low level OpenGL methods or something like. But I can't find glScalef method. So why I can't use glScalef? or maybe I just did not noticed the method. Huh

20  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: Slick2D Image.getColor crash on: 2014-12-22 20:09:43
Someone can me help solve it??

EDIT:
Finally I solved it, I made only small change, instead of:
1
Image screenshot = new Image(gc.getWidth(), gc.getHeight());

I write:
1
Image screenshot = new Image(gc.getWidth() - 1, gc.getHeight() - 1);

And now it works perfectly Tongue
21  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: Slick2D Image.getColor crash on: 2014-12-22 14:51:07
As I can see, no.

EDIT:
Then I after "g.copyArea(screenshot, 0, 0);" add "screenshot= screenshot.getFlippedCopy(false, true);" it works but I getting flipped image Sad
I dont want flip it, but without it I getting error  Angry

24  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: Slick2D White Rectangle instead image!? on: 2014-12-01 14:12:39
Thanks for replies Wink , but how I can load state(I mean, that appears 'loading' text while all loading doing 'enter' method)?? And after all resources are loaded and objects are initialized, state shows up. Tongue
25  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: Slick2D White Rectangle instead image!? on: 2014-11-30 20:26:17
Ok, I got It. Cheesy all problem was that I intializing button on state 'enter' method, but I need initialize it on 'init' method. But why I can't correcly initialize button from state 'enter' method??
26  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Slick2D White Rectangle instead image!? on: 2014-11-30 19:38:54
Hi all! So now I making button for my own game and I have really strange problem.
Currently my button load three images, as you can see:
1
2
3
buttonIdle = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "IdleButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);
buttonDisabled = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "DisabledButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);
buttonHighLight = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "HighLightButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);

My problem is with disabled button image. If disabled button image 'buttonDisabled' loads before button highlight image it working correctly, but if disabled button image loads after button highlight image, as you can see here:
1
2
3
buttonIdle = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "IdleButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);
buttonHighLight = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "HighLightButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);
buttonDisabled = new Image("res/images/buttons/" + buttonSize + "DisabledButton.png", false, Image.FILTER_NEAREST);

Then if button is disabled I getting white rectangle instead disabled button image. I don't know why this happening Huh I tried some things to fix that(like make format of image to 24bit and etc.) but it not helped at all!  Angry
Maybe someone can help me?  Smiley

Note: I using Slick2D game library.
