Does anyone know how to build such a parser?

A friend and i are making a sound mixer for mobile phones and need to play several short midi's from a sample bank at the same time. Since you can't use more than 1 Player object we can't play them just like that.

Is there another way to solve this or does anyone know how to program a midi parser, we would appreciate all help.

i'm working with a friend on a thesis to graduate this year. We need to build a sound mixer for mobile phones. The problem we encounter is that we need to play several midi's at the same time. Of course this is not possible with the provided media api.  :-/

Is there a way to solve this problem?   We were thinking of creating our own midi parser but are not sure how to do this and if this is the only way to be able to play several midi's in one time.
