but then when it went on to explain how to send it somewhere the tutorial failed me and nothing it suggested worked after that.  Ctrl+Enter on a planet to send ships didn't work.

Probably, you did not press "Space" after selecting ship. Section of help "Questions and answers" have step-by-step description of sending ship to another planet.

I tried to join a game that had room and would let me in (hadn't started yet) but I have no idea when it WILL start.  When I join a game I wanna play it!  It's a bummer to have to wait for something and not even know what I'm waiting for.
It will start when appropriate number of players join the game. This is a general unconvenience of all online turn-based strategy games. You will receive a message on email when it starts (or you can use "Load game status" button in game manager instead.)

P.S. I see, you registered in game slot Beginner_015. There only three players need for game start.

Hello, I have found a new Java3D bug: wakeup condition WakeUpOnElapsedFrames() does not works in offscreen 3D canvas. Does anybody has workaround?

Hi all. Here is one great "feature", that java3d has and xith has not: a good one-file installer. I've read xith installing tutorial and feeled that only few "dumb" users will use xith because of sophisticate install procedure.

Hey, guys, why we're inventing bike?
Scenegraph serialization is already invented, so it is no need to create something different (under 'serialization' I mean scenegraph-to-stream/file transformation, not just java serialization) . Look at the package of Java3D (here are even sources there in j3d sdk). All problems with shared nodes, named objects, etc., are solved. All that needed is to port this machinery on xith3D.

I want to switch from Java3D (by rumours, it is dead), but, unfortunately, I can't. Xith3d has not scenegraph serialization, and it is too much work to do it by myself. So, when Xith3d has, I'll switch on it, but now I'm stay on j3d.
