Today I finally added a working online multiplayer and some othe stuff to this game!
You can now play online or local against your friends.
I also fixed some bugs and removed the huge settings menu because it was kinda useless.

Well, I added some informations..  Smiley
3  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / [Libgdx Project] Spheric on: 2015-06-13 10:45:43

I just want to show you my progress on my new game project called "Spheric".

What is this game about?
The goal is, to get the biggest sphere by eating the other smaller spheres. Thats pretty much all about the gameplay so far... Smiley
(Maybe some of you know the game, thats what inspired me)

At the moment there are just a few semi intelligent bots in this game but later I want to add a multiplayer using kryonet.
I also want to add some powerups and other gamemodes and I want to change the movement system to a Osmos(Another game) like one, where you move by shooting parts of you away.

Right now it's just the first test.. Smiley

Controls so far:
W,A,S,D + Mouse

I once made this for testing some Libgdx stuff, now I improved this project a bit and published it.

Basically it's just a "simple" pong clone.
You can play local on a keyboard against your friend or online.
Everything else is self-explanatory... Smiley

I made a gamejolt article for this game here:

What would be really nice is to have layer functionality. And to be able to set that layer to a color.

I will add a layer function as soon as possible.

Great work! I found the color switcher not to work properly. It's really is simple to use to me. How would I save my projects as an image, if you created a method for doing that. I made something that I personally really like.

It's some kind of futuristic alien that does everything with his brain. He is encapsulated inside of a blue sack. I got a pretty cool idea from it.

That looks really cool Smiley
And there is a method to save your project as image! Just go to "Data" -> "Export image..." and choose the option you want

Cool project, cant wait to see how it turns out Smiley

Question though, what features do you have in mind that will help allow for fast pixel art creation?

Maybe a kind of "randomnizer" wich generates random colors to a selected area, or as i said: a layer function.
I also want to add line- and rectangle/ellipse tools
7  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / PixME: A Java Pixelart Software on: 2014-05-11 19:47:40

i'm currently working on a new project named PixME.
With PixME you can create easily and fast pixelarts!

Be warned, it's currently something like a beta!

i just want to show you my version of "Pong" wich i made for a challenge on youtube!
It's writte in Java using LibGdx.

Here is the video:

You can change the colors of the game in options
It also runs on android, but it's optimizedfor my phone. :<

Thanks for all these replies, i'll try to fix all bugs as soon as possible.

I really hate the darkness of the game.. At least objects that you can't walk through.. I mean, I can't see where im walking.. I died because i bumped into something..

Other than that, pretty cool game.

My current record is 572 Cheesy

Whats your display resolution?
there are some problems with < 1920x1080

I'm not quite sure why didn't you fix the bug where after on die and start the game again you keep old updates.

Also, on the new feature note, I would suggest to leave 5 second interval for player to collect his goods. It is really annoying to travel to the next level instantly when last bug drops something. Or just make it so that you automatically collect everything on the ground once level ends.

About the brightness, at level 8-9++ or something like that it becomes almost impossible to see which bugs are alive. Dead bugs are a lot more visible than alive once since alive bugs are only properly visible because of their eyes. Either make dead bugs almost invisible, ( I MEAN LITERALLY) or make alive ones more visible. Making collision objects more visible would help also.

Also i want to implement a new kind of enemy, but i need sprites/animations, and i'm to uncreative to draw them...  Angry
Is anyone here who can draw sprites?

10  Games Center / WIP games, tools & toy projects / Graveyard Invasion on: 2014-03-30 12:43:26

today i want to release my game project named "Graveyard Invasion"!
In this game you have to survive as long as you can against unlimited waves of mobs.
You can find various types of power ups: Damage, Life, Range, Speed...
At the moment there are only 2 different kinds of enemys: the bat and the spider, but i will add more as soon as possible and maybe i'll add  a weapon or a shop system. Wink

All sprites were made with PixME Pixelart Tool:
