1  Games Center / Showcase / Re: Planet Impact: Revolution on: 2014-12-16 18:15:09
Thank for the feedback!  Wink

TheBoneJarmer:
I tested it on 480x320 resolution and it indeed looked horrible. I added MipMap filter to the texture which makes the text look a bit smother.. but i can't really say if its more readable. I never had smaller resolutions in mind mainly because i thought that game itself would perform poorly on these devices as there are at times thousands of box2d bodies flowing around. Anyway the update includes a MipMap filter so check it out and maybe let me know if it helped? Wink

TheFumelgo:
Thanks so much for finding that bug! Its fixed now. Regarding the sensibility the margin for error is already pretty big (in local coordinates) however theres one trick that probably no one notices is that you can zoom in and pan with two fingers. I added one line in tutorial that explains it now. Does zooming help or you thing something else should be done?

Thanks again for the feedback guys! I already uploaded a new version to google play so it should be live in a few hours.

Planet Impact is my latest android game:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uaimedna.spaceout.android

Libgdx was as always great along the way. Few interesting facts about the game:

Game uses real photos from Hubble space telescope as background images.
All the levels were created by bot that played thousands of randomly generated levels and picked the best ones. No level editor exists for this game it just kind of assembled itself.
Box2d was used for physics.

A rating or a review would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Could you be more specific? Which part of it is hard for you? And maybe you have any suggestions on how to improve it? Wink

Thanks! Concerning the speed, it gradually increases through the levels and by the time you get to level 100 it gets insane! If you don't want to wait till level 100 you can try free-roam mode where it gradually reaches maximum speed after about two minutes of gameplay.
5  Games Center / Showcase / Ballseye 3D. My first 3D game! on: 2014-08-15 14:32:06

Finally finished my first 3D game using libgdx. Its a free - add supported game with an interesting feature that you can remove ads with in game currency without paying a dime. You can upgrade your character's skills and there is 100 level to go through. Have fun!

Heres the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uaimedna.ballseye3d.

Any suggestions are welcome!
A review or rating would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Wink

Ballseye is a game that i created over the last weekend and few days back i took the time to submit it to play store.

The game was inspired by this talk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg which I'm sure most of you know (if not you'r missing out). My game didn't end up being as flashy but it's a fair shot at it I would say.

Here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uaimedna.ballseyefree

A rating or a comment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have fun!

Ok so mediafire it is. Keep in mind that this is direct copy of android game so don't select tilting controls and ignore on screen tutorials for touch screen. Anything else should be fine.

Controls: W,A,S,D for driving.
Esc: pause or go back in menu.
X,Z for some zooming that comes back to normal zoom after you release the button.
Arrow keys for some camera panning which also returns like zoom.

That's it. Have fun! Wink
Also could someone confirm that this .jar works?

Hi Longarmx and thank you for your comment.

The sensitivity of rotation speed can't be adjusted because that would be a change in game mechanics and because of that people wouldn't all be equal in global rankings of time. And the reason why rotations are at the speed they are now is because I find this speed to be most responsive (slower than that seemed too slow for me at the time of development). That said there is a control scheme that uses device tilting for bike rotation which might suit you better.

Best Motorbike Game Ever is android game that i have created over this summer, using libGDX, box2d, blender, gimp.
Game Features:

25 levels.
Rather nice physics (In my opinion).
Controls using accelerometer (or not if you don't want to).
Swarm leaderboards.
Animated grass! (can't really be seen unless you stop and stare at it).
Rag-doll physics!

As requested by others here's Desktop version: http://www.mediafire.com/download/aydy1u2c6fghfg8/MotorbikeThing.jar

Give it a rating or a review, that would be super helpful! Wink thanks.
