A slider!  That's a great idea, I should have thought of that.  The speed is hard-coded right now because I was afraid the simulations would be rough on slower machines.

I've heard reports of problems on Firefox -- the dimensions of the applet are different in Firefox somehow.  Anybody know anything about that?
