1  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / Re: USB Joysticks, XPlatform? on: 2005-02-06 19:20:52
Anyone?  ANY ideas on the topic?

2  Game Development / Newbie & Debugging Questions / USB Joysticks, XPlatform? on: 2005-02-02 18:45:14
Hi,

using USB you can connect up to 127 joysticks to a single PC. This gave me the idea of writing some simple games that support 4++ players simultaneusly on a single computer, using USB joysticks.

First thought was writing it just for Win32/DirectX using Delphi or VC.

On the second thought, it would be cool if that games could run on windows, linux and apple macs.

Is it possible to use multiple USB joysticks in a platform independant way in java?

If yes, any hints on what classes/libraries to use?
