I present: Save The Eggs!

You can play here: http://gamejolt.com/games/puzzle/save-the-eggs/29261/.

In this puzzle game, you are a mole called Molly and you are trying to save the farm you live in from going out of business by safely guiding the eggs into the basket. Given that the owners of the farm you live in are a little old couple, they have no idea that you are actually helping them in gathering the eggs.

Gameplay: you point and click on the terrain to raise it or lower it accordingly in order to deliver the eggs into the basket. You can also move the camera in order to see better, of course.

Feel free to leave your comments Cheesy.

I’m proud of these screenshots.

On the next picture you can see the smoke coming out of the exhaust.

Please disregard the Heads Up Display (HUD). I haven’t worked on it so it’s hard to see, and has typos, I know. Again, I haven’t worked on it for a while.

To see the images without the artifacts please go here: http://hub.jmonkeyengine.org/forum/topic/february-2014-monthly-wip-screenshot-thread/page/3/#post-260135. No matter how careful I was, IMGUR ruined the screenshots here. I'll try to take care of the artifacts next time.

The bug isn't fixed yet, can't give it a try Smiley

I meant in my unreleased patch that I have on my computer. Thanks for trying it though.

I'll soon be releasing the new version with the fixes. Stay tuned.

The Text API didn't support outlining at the time I was working on it. I plan to work on it, though.

Scroll down until the title "Multiplayer Networking" http://hub.jmonkeyengine.org/wiki/doku.php/jme3. It is a in-depth tutorial about networking in Java.

You can do several things with the resources on this link:

  • You can study them since they are written entirely in Java.
  • You can use the JMonkey engine for easy implementation of this material.
  • You can take those libraries and make them work for your game.
