Can you try running with the most recent build (1.1 b10) of JOGL?

i have mobility radeon 7500 ; this version (1.1b10) didnt really helps. but i remember all(xith demos) works very good before 1 year , i will check it with proper CVS soon

the problem here seems to be that the inner classes in the xith3d.jar don't have both $ characters for instance

I think you find solution as i did it today , but it is not good.
ok , i post solution - need ant build of xith3d.jar on local machine. Something wrong with inner classes in xith3d.jar provided in last build. I cant say what exactly wrong ... not $ for sure , second $ just a presentation , it havnt be in real file name.
Maybe its help to some1 who need to use Xith 1 time in year.

I have my own question. I have serious loose in performance compearing to 1 year before version of xith (or version of drivers) .
this mean latest build , and pre latest runs (demos) very slow on my machine. It was really ok 1 or 1.5 year before. I have 100% cpu picks very offen. also Martian Maddness of Kev run not so fast as i remember it runs.
A differences in my configuration are simple - i have mobility radeon 7500 so i use omega drivers right now.
them gives me 25-30 fps in martian madness. latest hp drivers give 1-2 fps. its really sad. maybe some1 knows what is a problem?

if u have relatively small map i think it doesnt matter how u find visible area. I mean ur way is good for small map - when u can store it in array. If u work with something really complex and large u just cant afford to store all tiles in array , so u have to use quadtree or BSP tree - as sad above. BSP tree  have better algorithm for finding visible area. but again - for 64x64 it really doesnt matter.
BTW 2dimention array and 1dimension array is same in binary representation , so it doesnt matter  what exactly u use Tongue

I know it is newb question , but how to scale ( shrink , enlarge) md3 model i just loaded? I tried to:
           MD3Loader loader = new MD3Loader();
       BranchGroup model  = loader.getScene();
       TransformGroup tg = new TransformGroup();
       Transform3D tr = new Transform3D();

but this dont work Sad... pls help
