I completely blanked on that word, tessellation, thanks for the tip!

I've managed to generate a dodecahedron (12 sided using pentagons), but I'm trying to calculate it's center position (centroid) of each face. I'm slowly melting my face trying to find a proper formula to do this with. Any ways I can do this?

I've got a concept in mind, but I'm pretty busy these next few days and may not be able to get anything significant done. I'll try to keep this thread updated, maybe it'll help you as well.

Hmm, the poles are still a problem, have you seen any reasonable fixes for this?

I'm trying to do spherical terrain generation in real-time, with multiple LODs. Have any of you tried this? Any recommendations? Useful resources? Also yes it's intended to be used as a planet, shaders for atmospheric effects/solar flares, etc, all will be done too. If you can help me anywhere, thanks!

Yeah, that's what I do. When I make a batch script to do it for me, it never asks for me the password and if I keep echo on, it just floods the screen with attempts.

Hmmm I've tried that... It just spams the commands and never signs the jar(s). Do you know of any script I can do that with?

I'm trying to automatically sign my jar upon export, thus saving me from having to open the command prompt and manually sign it repeatedly. Is there any methods that can be used to sign the jar upon export? For reference I'm doing this for an Applet, I need to have the elevated permissions that the certificates give you. Thanks! I found out it's caused when you cull the interior faces from the Sphere, in conjunction with using Alpha layers. I'll just find a backdoor for what I need. For the most part, solved it myself.

Found it. It was hidden away in my main file. Forgot. :p

I don't believe so, I'm pretty sufficient in terms of checking my code. I'll double check one more just to verify, but I'm near positive I have not. Most of the framework I made, I've created myself.

I'm using LWJGL and every time I press escape the game closes. Is there a value I need to set to stop it from doing so? Thanks for the read/response.

I've got it working, but I've got a problem that persists...

There is a sphere behind it with an alpha of 100% (1.0f), but it has an alpha of 75% (0.75f). It occurs at any alpha level. I'm using the Sphere from org.lwjgl.util.glu.Sphere

It works properly when inside of the sphere, but not when outside. Ideas? If you need any other information I'll be happy to share.
