Looks good dude. Am a big fan of these kind of phone puzzle games. Couple of things though:

  • Could do with a soundtrack
  • And it could do with some slightly nicer looking graphics

Other than that though i really like the concept of it all Cheesy

  • Do you mean that there would be background music during the game? I've been thinking that this kind of puzzle game wouldn't need it. However, I have thought that I could add some basic sound effects, for example when placing a tile to the board or solving a level.
  • I know the graphics could be improved. That's not actually my strongest area, but we'll see if I manage to make them better at some point. And you should see the graphics of the first versions… Wink

Shape Fitter is simple, yet addictive, puzzle-game for Android. Your task is simply to fit all the shapes to the board. The shapes can also be rotated. Levels start from easy but the puzzles become increasingly difficult guaranteeing hours of interesting challenges.

I assume you have solved this somehow since the topic is so old, but I answer anyway if someone else is pondering the same thing. I also use surfaceview in my game and show an ad banner in the bottom of the view. Just define the layout for your game and include your custom view (which draws to the surfaceview) and the adview in the layout. I use RelativeLayout but LinearLayout should work just fine also. So, define something like this:

Hello!

I recently published an updated version of my Android game Rhythm Sheep. The idea of the game is to listen a rhythm and repeat it as accurately as you can by tapping the phone. The closer you hit a beat, the better the sheep line up to the grass and more points you score. Level difficulties vary a lot so there should be rhythmic challenges for everyone. Please try it out and all feedback is appreciated!
