Hello. I haven`t been active on JGO for a long time, I know Well, for the last few months I have been messing about with 3d in LWJGL. Most recently (last week ) I started creating a simple Voxel Engine. But I have bumped into a big problem... To generate random terrain (like in minecraft ) you use noise... I HAVENT GOT A CLUE HOW IT WORKS . I have googled and read up a bit about it, but I still dont understand Can sombody please help me? Thanks in advance Peter

Well, as I said, you can have the game running on a server (you can use apache web server and turn you computer into a localhost server), then save the gamedata into a file, then process the file with a php script. Then you can crean. Nother php script to insert the data into a mysql database. Or you caan use a xml file.

What do you mean by "lose focus"?? If you have gor the mouse grabbed, just "ungrabbit" using Mouse.setGrabbed(false);

You could try saving the "blocks" of the game in an array, and then write them to a file using the Java API` IO. Then you could have the whole game running on a server, and then have a php script to insert it into a mysql database.

No, there isnt any prebuilt class in the Java API to handle your problem. But about running slower, well, I think that the code I posted might run a bit faster (of course the code might contain some bugs)

First, we have to theck, if the mouse is over the desired location (I made it a box...).

height = squareHeight;

You should consider making the window a bit smaller (more narrow). It fits well in my monitor, but some people havent got such wide screens.

The thing is, that the tablet is BIG! A phone is much smaller, so i`ts easier to hold it. A lot of games arent easy to play on a tablet.
