1  Game Development / Game Mechanics / Phys2D: creating a self-righting see saw on: 2009-02-01 19:30:41
Hi, Im fairly new to Phys2d, and after playing around with it a little, I was wondering if it was possible to make a self-righting see saw / teeter totter?

The phys2d demo Demo 4 - teeter totter is almost exactly what Im trying to get.

Once all the blocks fall off, Im hoping to get the see saw to "right" itself into the horizontal position (preferably, making it harder to push down either side in the first place).

Is there a "proper" or optimal way to do this, or should I just shove a spring under and/or on top of each side?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
