I am an IT recruitment consultant and i am currently recruiting for a number of contract development positions where JMonkey Engine is the desired skillset.

The roles can be based in either Newcastle upon Tyne or Farnborough.

My client is currently running a state of the art project based around geographical mapping systems and creating 3D city models. I appreciate it isn't gaming based but my client has told me that developers with a gaming background would fit well into the development team.

We are looking for people with JMonkey Engine experience coupled with OpenGL. Experience working with MMORPG would be excellent as well. If you have experience of GIS or Spatial Applications development that would be great.

It is a 6 month contract and an exciting opportunity to get extensive JMonkey Engine experience on a leading edge development project which is likely to span the length and breadth of Europe.
