1  Games Center / 4K Game Competition - 2013 / Re: Community Voting Has Started! on: 2013-03-18 15:38:50
Some, while others abuse it.

This is a rather small community, do you think very many people would abuse it? (there is always SOMEONE, but it may be the exception)

Would people be more willing to give honest feedback it was anonymous?

I seem to be getting 2 comments regarding the difficulty: from developers (i.e. you guys) - "it's too easy"; from friends and family - "it's a bit hard". Perhaps I need to find friends/family who are more competent game players  Grin

If you have room perhaps you could have a easy/hard AI options?

Perhaps there could be diminishing returns with each building you build at the same town... Right now I just mass produce at my first town and turtle until I have enough soldiers to conquer the entire map all at once.  There does not seem to be much motivation to attack other towns earlier in the game.

Great game and great presentation!

New high score!  Wave 13 and 925 points.

If I can manage to get 3 rows of the double pea shooters I can last quite a while.  I thought i was getting close to being able to last forever... but I'm guessing the code is setup to make it get harder and harder, so forever would be pretty much impossible.

EDIT: okay, high score is now 1219 points at wave 15.  Time to get back to work now!

i finally won on the difficult setting! Great game!  I loved last years version, and this one is even better.

It seems that after I get a lot of ships on the screen (a LOT) the game does not listen to my commands all the time.  I have to select planets and give an order about 3 times before it sticks.  Also, it would be handy if the planets stayed selected, especially when you have giving ONE and HALF orders.  So, you could just a series of commands to the same group of planets without re selecting them.

tons of fun and the presentation is great!  Once the pogo stick zombies show up it starts going down hill for me.  The tall nut timer is so long I can't seem to get enough out there to stop them.  My current high score is wave 287 at wave 7.

Great game!  The controls give it some "retro difficulty" that I like.  Once I got the big gun it got a little easier.  My current high score is 13780.
