It needs more. On a serious note however, most of the time I use the search feature, just with these kinds of questions, I like to see what each individual person prefers, and that matches what I am looking for exactly. Also, as we all know, I could stumble across something that is wrong, but it is being presented otherwise.

I've always been amazed with some AI's that have shown up throughout the years, such as Google's voice assistant, and NPC players in sports games. I was wondering where I would start with making my own, I'd imagine making a robot you can speak with would be interesting, kind of like cleverbot, any ideas?

I wasn't insulting Windows 7, just my own. I forgot to include the fact that half my registry is missing, so its not exactly easy to use. I hate your theme lol... I can't see a thing in Aptana because it follows that very color scheme.

I want 2 monitors.. Saving up for it now.. Is that Aptana you have opened on the right screen?
I'm running an AMD Phenom II Quad - Core, with 5GB of RAM and an integrated Radeon HD 4200.. I hate it. Windows 7 is glitchy. Ubuntu supports nothing. Graphics are horrid.. I'm saving up about a grand to get a new rig.. Something nicer..

What do you think would be a good start for somebody who has moderate Java development, but not in games? I attempted at making a slick game, but found their tutorials incomplete, I would like to make a 3D game in the near future. I understand a majority of you are going to tell me to google it, but I would like to get some opinionated results of what you think is the best place to start.

Oh wow, if only 1.8% of the registrations are passing the quiz then I feel a lot smarter. Or have the ability to compile Java code. Either one works to get in lol

@ra4king: Look I'm not sure what level of sarcasm you're implying but I'm just trying to help. ( And yes, I have issues understanding when someone uses sarcasm ) I'm usually bad at expressing myself in these type of topics. Sometimes I go waaaay to far.... I myself have issues with designing. When creating websites I try to find patterns in others I like. When choosing colors for a design it takes me hours and even after a few days I change. I have difficulties making choices. I'm not implying that I'm a perfectionist, but I like my stuff to be organized, User friendly, care for detail. If people don't like it, I don't mind... and I wont try to disprove em. It's just my opinion and I respect others. If some don't like what I write, please do tell me I don't think he was being sarcastic.

Hey Tyb97 and welcome to JGO! You're completely fine with posting an introduction thread in here. Oh and SMF may 'look' pretty but according to our awesome cute fluffy overlord, Riven, it sucks ass. And feeling retarded is a good thing....you can only get better I've ran forums with vBulliten, SMF, and myPHBB or w/e its called, I prefer SMF over all. About the beginning quiz, I threw it into eclipse, and almost cried when I saw the answer...

Didn't see a board for introductions (or a rules post saying no introductions allowed), so I'm just going to tell you a little bit about myself. I am driven here as I recently started developing a game idea that I had, its only on the drawing board and I've only written a little code, however I plan to take it all the way. I love this forum also, I am a big fan of SMF, and was pleased to see when I clicked this link and saw it wasn't vBulliten, or some other software, so anyways, whats up?
Also, thanks for making me feel retarded on the verification page -_-.
