2  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Re: WireFrame Display on: 2008-04-24 13:43:36
Thanks dishmoth,
                   I was able to display the wireframe mode of image using gl.glPolygonMode(GL.GL_FRONT_AND_BACK, GL.GL_LINE);  Your suggestion was really helpful.

I have one more doubt. I am trying to switch between the wireframe mode and solid mode of the image on left and right mouse event click. But I am unable to switch between the two modes.

what I have did is set the value GL.GL_FILL on left click and GL.GL_FRONT_AND_BACK on right click for a variable which is passed as a first argument for the method
gl.glPolygonMode. And then I have called display() on the GLPanel which displays the image.

Please guide me where I am wrong.

Thanks in advance.

7  Java Game APIs & Engines / JOGL Development / Alternatives for Java 3D classes on: 2008-04-15 10:04:23
Hi,
 I am having a demo program in Java 3D, now what I am trying to do is convert this in JOGL, but I dont know how to replace the following Java3D class in JOGL.

 com.sun.j3d.loaders.Scene
 com.sun.j3d.loaders.Loader
 com.sun.j3d.loaders.SceneBase
 com.sun.j3d.utils.geometry.GeometryInfo;
 com.sun.j3d.utils.universe.SimpleUniverse;
 com.sun.j3d.utils.universe.ViewingPlatform

Can any one plese tell me what are the alternative classes available for this in JOGL.
 Or is there other way / workaround for this classes in JOGL.

Thanks in Advance.

Guys thanks for all your replies and Suggestion. I was able to resolve the problem after uninstalling and deleting all the JDK and Netbeans related material. I guess
there might be some where jogl related .dll or .jar in the installation which I was unable to find out.

Thanks Once again.
