I added the jar to the path, but I don't really know what I can do with the dll's except add a path to them. 
If anyone has had any luck with JInput and Jcreator your help would be much appreciated. Oh, I'm using JDK 1.5 if that matters at all.

Just had to have the dll's in the same location as the java file
