3  Discussions / General Discussions / Re: How Long Have You Been Coding? on: 2012-02-27 23:04:30

Over 30 years.
Started with the Sinclair ZX81 & Spectrum, those where the days that I knew every address.

My greatest achievement was a handcrafted opcode-assembler (no money for an real assembler) Frogger clone in 3K.

Nowadays I suspect that my computer knows every address of myself and I sometimes wonder what the computer is really doing.

Hey it's very fun game. Nice art.

Just one problem, I have 768 height screen resolution so maybe an option for it will be great~

Thanks,

Yes, support for different resolutions will certainly be an option.

WIP Demo of Fruit on Rails, it has one playable level.

In Fruit on Rails the player has to deliver trains with fruit to the silos and take the produced goods to their destinations.

The demo is just for play testing, there is still a lot of work to do.

It uses Java6 and Slick2D

- How Java-friendly is/was steam, was it difficult to integrate a Java game within the steam environment?
8  Games Center / Archived Projects / Re: Commander Europe at War on: 2008-01-11 08:42:58

I bought the game and I must say that Commander Europe at War is a great game, Johan did a great job.
It's a very professional game and it silence the discussion whether Java is a useful gaming platform.

I am glad to see such a high-class strategy Java game in the mainstream strategy market.... it's an inspiration for me.
