1  Game Development / Game Mechanics / Is there a sample code for using GeomTransform class? on: 2007-05-05 08:41:28
Hello,

Can anyone provide a sample code for using GeomTransform class?
Because I find "ODE documentation" hard to completely understand.

P.S: It will be good if the sample code demonstrates how to attach multiple geoms to one body by using GeomTransform and
how to position the geoms in a body correctly.

Best regards,
Erke.

2  Game Development / Game Mechanics / Re: Collision detection between placeable geoms which have no bodies? on: 2007-05-05 07:12:23
Hey irrisor, thank you very much  Grin!!!
Thank you for your reply.
Your advice has been very helpful.

I tested my collision without contact-joints and rigid bodies feel collision but there are no bounce between them!!!
They just feel touching each other. As a result, they do no extra movement. That's what I needed.

I'd like to express my deep gratitude to you again and again.
You helped us to solve the biggest problem that our project has (had  Wink).

Best regards,
Erke.
3  Game Development / Game Mechanics / Collision detection between placeable geoms which have no bodies? on: 2007-05-04 04:19:29
Hello,

Can I detect collision between geoms without bodies?
Because when rigid bodies go into collision, they bounce.
(I'd like to thank t_larkworthy for his advice on removing bounciness of rigid bodies, however there is still very little bounce  Embarrassed).

please help me  Huh

OdeJava. Of course, I am using OdeJava.
I thought that this forum was for OdeJava.
5  Game Development / Game Mechanics / Bounciness of rigid body? on: 2007-05-03 09:26:56
Hello,

How to make a rigid body absolutely not bouncing?
Though I know little about programming and Java, I know almost nothing about physics.
I want the rigid body stop at the place where it collides with another body or geom.

Best regards,
Erke.
