oh, I must say it is looking very impressive.

Just curious did you do the artwork yourself of is it ripped from some other game?

We've done a lot of artwork ourselves. We have had a few different artists so the style isn't competently consistent. We had to start using artwork from http://opengameart.org/ and a few sources where we had an agreement with the author. We don't illegal rip art. Most of what you see in the screen shot was done by us.

edit: I think the only thing in those screen shots that is not by us is the tree.

The graphics is really nice and detailed. The tree is the only artwork I think doesn't fit, thinking of the blue light on the right side of it. But I guess you will replce it since it was not made by you. Looking forward to be able to play it soon!

Thanks for sharing that site. That will help a little until I buy such things later. They had some handy sounds too.

I saw this on the Slick forum, and I also saw that you wrote
"..so this is not likely to ever be finished" <-- that displeases me  Undecided

If I said that then it was a giant typo. We ARE finishing it, the only uncertainty is when.

I might not have been correct in my quoting there  Tongue
Though I remember for sure that you posted some kind of calculation of how long it would take... and that was... in a long time  Smiley

I'm getting a lot of help from Howard so that estimation is much lower now. Plus now we have a scripting engine implemented so once we find someone who knows Javascript and is creative we will have a good pace. We were play testing the first few areas yesterday and everything ran smoothly.
